The meeting was hosted by PMAS-AAUR. Academic and industrial members from Sahiwal Cattle Breeder Society, Buffalo Breeder Association Punjab, Iowa State University, USA, Livestock Improvement Association, New Zealand and Joint Laboratory on livestock and forage Genetics Resources, Beijing, China participated in the meeting. Prof. Dr. M. Sajjad Khan VC-CUVAS Bahawalpur chaired the meeting and agenda was presented by Dr. Ghulam Bilal, CPD-NCLBG&G. Scientific Directors from all sub-centers (except UPR and LUAWMS) participated in the meeting. Important discussions and decisions were made to complete the KPIs of the project and to develop academia-industry linkages for sustainability of the NCLBG&G. At the end, the Chair thanked all members for sparing valuable time for this national cause and encouraged all stakeholders to work in close collaboration with project administration in order to make the NCLBG&G a success story.

The training was intended for veterinary professional from all over Pakistan. The training was held on July 18, 2022. Prof. Dr. M. Sajjad Khan VC CUVAS Bahawalpur was the chief guest in the closing ceremony. He stressed hard the significance of data collection for breed improvement and its effective utilizations.

The concluding ceremony was held on July 22, 2022. Dr. Ghulam Bilal (CPD) briefly introduced the project objective of improving genetic potential of real livestock breeds through technological. The participants was awarded with shields and certificates at the end.
